The General Manager provides overall leadership and direction for the company, with accountability for Profit & Loss, commercial performance and operations. The role requires strong technical expertise in offshore fabric maintenance, including scaffolding, coatings, rope access, and insulation services-combined with strategic leadership to deliver safe, profitable, and sustainable growth.
Main Functions:
- Ensure the highest technical standards in offshore fabric maintenance service delivery, including compliance with international standards, client specifications, and industry best practices.
- Oversee quality assurance, technical audits, and continuous improvement programs across offshore and onshore operations.
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all operations meet or exceed HSE requirements.
- Provide visionary leadership to management teams, aligning divisional priorities with Board- approved strategy.
- Function as senior ambassador for the company with regulators, industry associations, and clients to strengthen the company's reputation and influence.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and capability-building across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure the Board of Directors is informed of all initiatives and developing issues, whether positive or negative.
- Lead implementation of in-country business development and approved strategic growth initiatives.
- Primary point of contact with key client personnel to ensure thorough understanding of client requirements and continuous relationship improvement.
- Be accountable for the attraction, retention, and extension of key contracts.
- Identify operational and commercial risks of the business and ensure implementation of appropriate processes to manage.
- Develop and justify operating budgets for delivery service.
