About this role

You will play a key role in delivering projects from start to finish within the education space, working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and key stakeholders. Your expertise will ensure all contracts are managed efficiently, projects run smoothly, and deadlines and budgets are met.

  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, variations, and purchase orders.
  • Manage progress claims, invoices, and financial reporting to keep projects on track.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
  • Track budgets and cost control, ensuring financial accuracy and project efficiency.
  • Handle procurement and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, WHS standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Assist with tenders and pre-construction processes where required.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation and reporting throughout all project stages.

Is this you?

  • 5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator.
  • Proven experience in commercial projects - ideally within the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in construction management systems and MS Office.
  • Local industry knowledge and experience are essential.
